Headquartered in Sheffield, the British Business Bank was established in 2014 to increase the supply and diversity of finance for smaller businesses, as well as encouraging and enabling businesses to seek the finance best suited to their needs.
It works through over 100 partners, including banks, leasing companies, venture capital funds and web-based platforms. The Bank is wholly owned by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), but independently managed.
Tisski was asked to help the government-owned institution use CRM to improve access to finance markets for smaller businesses across the UK.
British Business Bank required a Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM system designed to drive efficiencies across the organisation’s origination, due diligence, transaction and portfolio management processes.
Phase one saw the delivery of core relationship and activity management systems, deal management processes and the migration of existing data.
Phase two further enhanced processes for deal management and include the implementation of SharePoint.
The new CRM system configured by Tisski will help improve the management of relationships with the Bank’s existing and potential delivery partners, including supporting marketing and transaction activity.
