This August, our regular charity donation was made to Operation Underground Railroad. The organisation are dedicated to the prevention of child trafficking and exploitation, offering rehabilitation and support to those they manage to save.
Tisski’s Finance and Admin Controller, Jemma Woolfall, chose Operation Underground Railroad as the recipient of this month’s £2,000 donation as they work to tackle an issue she feels very passionate about, and often donates to personally.
The charity work around the clock to research trafficking rings, formulate strategies to rescue children with the help of special agents, former CIA officers and other trained experts, and help victims along their road to recovery while seeking to bring perpetrators to justice.
Operation Underground Railroad assess aftercare centres around the world to ensure survivors of trafficking are given the support they need in the United States of America and beyond.
