Tisski to Help Enhance Business Change Maturity and Portfolio Management for Catalyst

Warwickshire-based tech consultancy and Microsoft Gold Partner, Tisski, is set to streamline project and portfolio management for one of the UK’s leading housing associations after being awarded a contract by Catalyst.

A member of G15 –London’s group of largest housing associations – Catalyst owns and manages over 37,000 homes and provides housing and related services to over 70,000 customers. As a not-for-profit organisation, they reinvest money raised from property sales in developing and maintaining more affordable homes across London and the home counties.

In recent years, Catalyst has grown its capacity, geography and expertise. In 2019, they merged with Bedfordshire-based Aldwyck Housing Group and Surrey-based Rosebery Housing Association recently joined as a subsidiary. The housing association is also in talks with fellow G15 landlord Peabody to join together and if proposals go ahead, the new combined organisation will be the second largest housing association in the country.

With ambitious targets to achieve, Catalyst identified a need to strengthen their project and portfolio management processes.

Partnering with Tisski, Catalyst will introduce Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations to ensure consistency and efficiency in reporting, gain further insight into resource demands, and deliver a robust project prioritisation mechanism.

Through this partnership and the technology used, Catalyst will be fully supported in their delivery of the organisation’s strategic objectives, ensuring an increase on capital raised for development of future affordable housing.

Tanya Martin, Head of Change at Catalyst, said: “It’s extremely exciting to be working with Tisski, revolutionising the way in which we manage and deliver change at Catalyst. They have really helped us bring our vision to life and this will be fundamental in setting us up for the future, developing our capability to improve services for our customers and to support our growth.”

Anna Assassa, CEO at Tisski, said: “What Catalyst is trying to achieve in the realm of affordable housing is incredible. I know I’m speaking on behalf of everyone at Tisski when I say how proud we are to be able to support their efforts by providing the technology to truly transform the way their projects and change portfolio is managed.

Project Operations will make a huge difference to their management information and so much more, and with Microsoft continuing to invest in the offering, Catalyst is sure to benefit from new and exciting features long into the future.”
