August 2020 Charity Donation

This month's £2,000 charity donation was chosen by Charlotte Wood, one of our Project Delivery Managers. Here's what she has to say about her chosen charity:

"The Swan Song Project is a charity local to me who give individuals whom are facing end of life and those surrounding them the opportunity to write and record their own original song to express their feelings. No previous musical experience is required, and they are supported throughout the process.

"A professional songwriter provides support to guide each person, through finding the initial idea, writing and recording their song. Throughout Covid-19, the swan song project have been unable to go to hospices to give this opportunity, so have been continuing their great work via a virtual service.

"I first met Ben at a live music venue in Doncaster when his band played, and have been following his hard work and dedication with The Swan Song Project ever since."
