July 2020 Charity Donation

This month’s charity donation has been chosen by Montse Sanchez, one of our Dynamics 365 consultants, and £2,000 has been donated to the Save the Children Coronavirus Emergency Appeal.

Montse chose the appeal as she’s concerned about young children living in refugee camps, where it’s near impossible to practice social distancing, and where a lack of access to soap and running water will make it particularly difficult to combat the spread of the virus.

Here’s a little bit about the appeal:

All over the world, Save the Children is listening to families and working round-the-clock to keep children safe, healthy and make sure they can continue learning.

Their teams are rapidly adapting existing work while preparing for outbreaks of Coronavirus in countries with weakened health systems, fragile contexts or a limited capacity to respond due to other ongoing crises, such as conflict or natural disasters.

Globally, their Agenda for Action puts pressure on governments and world leaders to #ProtectAGeneration from the worst impacts of coronavirus.
