December 2021 Charity Donation

The final charity to receive a £2,000 donation from Tisski in 2021 has been chosen by our Dynamics NAV Consultant, Chris Krikonis. Chris has chosen to support Το Χαμόγελο του Παιδιού (The Smile of the Child) – a charity based in his home country, Greece.

The organisation was founded by Konstantinos Giannopoulos in 1995 in the name of his 10-year-old son, Andreas, who expressed his desire to create an organisation that fosters love, care and respect for all children in a diary, shortly before losing his own battle with cancer.

To date, The Smile of the Child has supported hundreds of thousands of children and their families, including victims of violence, those with severe and life-threatening illnesses, missing children, and those living in poverty.

The Smile of the Child celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2020, and now works with more than 400 employees and 2,000 volunteers to continue making Andreas’s dream a reality. To find out more about this cause, please visit the Smile of the Child website.
