This month, we were happy to be able to donate money to a cause local to our CEO, Anna Assassa.
2021 marks 100 years since the passing of Yorkshire MP, businessman, social reformer and philanthropist, Walter Morrison, who paid for the construction of Giggleswick School Chapel and fought for primary school education for all children in Britain, amongst other things.
In celebration of his life and the landscape of North Craven, the Folly – home to the Museum of North Craven Life – is hosting the Walter Morrison Festival between October 8th and December 23rd, this year. The festival will bring a series of exhibitions, walks, guided tours and events in his memory.
Tisski’s donation is helping cover some of the costs associated with the organisation of the festival.
You can find out more about the cause on the Folly website.
