March 2022 Charity Donation

This March, we’re pleased to be supporting Cancer Research UK (CRUK) – a very worthy cause chosen by our Senior Azure Solution Architect, Cos Bellis.

Cancer Research UK was established back in 2002, but its history actually dates back to 1902, when the Imperial Cancer Research Fund was founded. The charity works tirelessly to research and understand cancer, and how to prevent, diagnose and treat it; work that has brought huge benefit to millions of people’s lives over the past 120 years.

Aside from research, CRUK develops policy and provides a bank of resources and support for people with cancer and their families; the charity has also played an important role in supporting GPs to deliver best practice during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

Cancer Research UK does not receive government funding, so donations go a long way in helping the CRUK team do everything they can to minimise the number of lives lost to cancer. To find out more about the cause, please visit the Cancer Research UK website.
