Richard Baxter
Richard joined Tisski back in 2013, brought on board to lead on the creation of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) practice and given his extensive experience in the financial sector, he’s the perfect man for the job.
A chartered accountant, Richard has spent years working in practice and his experience as a group financial controller and a finance director certainly proves useful when it comes to talking shop with clients looking for financial solutions.
Having sat on both sides of the fence, Richard has a knack for understanding what clients really need and his knowledge adds plenty of value for Tisski customers.
“My experience as a finance director means I can really get to the bottom of what would work well for their organisation, I enjoy challenging clients on their requirements in a positive way - by aligning the product capability with the specifics of the client’s needs, we can make a real difference to the organisation.”
Now our Financial Director, Richard is responsible for all aspects of Tisski’s finances, as well as ensuring everything is as it should be from a governance perspective.
“Having been in practice for 15 years, I was looking for a move into industry and opportunities in the IT sector came up, having now been in the IT industry for 20 years, the ability to take processes which are tedious and laborious and transform them into something much more interesting and automated, allowing the business to use the data rather than just create it, really holds my interest.”
Outside of work, Richard enjoys taking his dogs for long walks and attending the gym regularly, purely because it helps him relax after a long day, as does yoga which he practices often.
