Employee Bio
With over 20 years of experience working with IT service providers, Mark is no stranger to helping companies deliver unrivalled customer service and drive exceptional return on investment – and that’s exactly what he’s been doing for Tisski since joining in 2015.
Starting his career in the military before pursuing a career in distribution, Mark decided to make the move to tech in the 90s, when home computing rose in popularity.
“The IT industry, like no other I’ve worked in, recognises success, in no time my career picked up momentum, which allowed me to work in some of the most amazing companies.”
As Non-Executive Director, Mark spends time exploring creative ideas to help move Tisski forward in the sector, working with the Board on broader strategic direction and organisational improvement, as well as developing areas such as sales and employee personal development.
While he doesn’t work directly with clients, Mark helps ensure that Tisski continues to deliver what he likes to call ‘customer enchantment’.
“It’s a truly amazing company and its hard to describe why. Maybe it’s because people genuinely care about each other’s wellbeing; we see ourselves as being part of the ‘Tisski family’.”
Outside of work, Mark has a love for nature (which he’s surrounded by, living in western Scotland’s Kintyre peninsula) and his ‘reliably unreliable’, 40-year-old Land Rover.
