Employee Profile
Hello, I’m Debbie and I’m the Office Manager at Tisski. My role entails a wide variety of activities – as well as managing the office, I assist all other departments in booking travel arrangements and training courses and ordering equipment. I also run reports, support HR with admin and help with employee onboarding.
Organisation and administration - I also have a very weird, geeky knowledge of UK postcodes and geographical locations!

The people I work with and my manager are amazing, and the company as a whole recognises you as a person. There is a real family-orientated culture about the business.
My first ever job was working for a Microsoft reseller via mail-order – I remember working through the night to fulfil the back orders of Windows 95 when it was launched! Seeing how much things have developed since then and what technology is now capable of is fascinating.
Where I am today. I worked in maintenance for many years before joining Tisski so coming back to IT and was pushing myself way out of my comfort zone. Although I still have a lot to learn, I couldn’t wish to be with a better company to support my growth.
It's actually a bit gross, so I will move on to my second biggest fear, which is thunder and lightning. My mum was also terrified of it, so I think that's where it came from. My dad tried to help me overcome it once by standing on a hotel roof in Spain watching a storm over the mountains. Now I don't mind watching the lightning so much but the noise of the thunder still terrifies me!
