October 2022 Charity Donation

This October, we are proudly supporting Tommy’s charity through a £2,000 donation made to an amazing fundraiser organised by our Business Development Executive, Alex Instone, and his brother Ashley.

Founded in 1992, Tommy's is a pregnancy charity working towards making the UK the safest place in the world to give birth. For more than 25 years the charity has been raising awareness of miscarriages, stillbirths, and premature births. The charity and its supporters are helping fund pioneering research into complications with pregnancy and the prevention of recurrent miscarriages, as well as funding specialist miscarriage facilities.

The charity also provides expert, midwife-led advice for parents, and in the last year, 4,500 people have been supported by Tommy’s midwives, helping work towards safer, healthier pregnancies.

Alex and Ashley took part in the Solihull Half Marathon earlier this year to help raise funds for Tommy's – a cause that means a great deal to them.

Alex said: “This cause is very close to home for our family. We are over the moon to have raised close to £4,000 for Tommy’s charity after running the Solihull Half Marathon. We hugely appreciate the generous donations from everyone who contributed, and we were overwhelmed to say the least by Tisski’s decision to sponsor us with their monthly charity contribution.”
