We are honoured to announce that Tisski have received the bronze award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS), acknowledging our continued support of the Armed Forces Community. This news comes just one month after announcing we had become a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant – the nations commitment to the Armed Forces, vowing to support serving personnel, service leavers, veterans, and their families.
The ERS endeavours to recognise organisations that have taken positive actions to help make sure no member of the Armed Forces Community is unfairly disadvantaged during recruitment, and they are supported in the workplace. The ERS encourages organisations to put their full support into defence, as well as actively motivating other organisations to do the same.
The scheme includes bronze, silver and gold awards for employers that pledge and actively demonstrate their support, alongside aligning their values with the Armed Forces Covenant, of which they are a signatory.
Tisski have pledged their support to the Armed Forces Community, including both existing and prospective employees; as a bronze award holder, we are proud to be Armed Forces-friendly, signifying our openness to employ reservists, veterans, cadet instructors and military partners, recognising their valuable skills throughout the entire recruitment process.
We look forward to continuing our support and working towards achieving the silver and gold ERS awards in the future. If you’d like to take the first steps to becoming a forces-friendly employer, take a look at the Armed Forces Covenant website.
